Post for Monday

23 07 2012

Nothing new with me at the moment.

Our weekend was good.

We saw Batman.  I would recommend it to anyone.  Great wrap up to a trilogy

Sad start to the week with the stuff going on in Colorado.   As President Obama said…life is precious and each moment we have with each other is important.

Waste no more time talking about great souls and how they should be. Become one yourself!

All You Gotta Do Is Say Yes

23 05 2012

While listening to “Say Yes” by Floetry a thought hit me…my mind wanders in funny tangets sometimes towards clarity.

In the video the lady is writing about how the guy makes her feel and the man was drawing a picture of her.  Both in seperate seats, both thinking about each other.

The Chorus of the song goes:

“All you gotta do is say yes

Don’t deny what you feel let me undress you baby

Open up your mind just rest

I’m about to let you know you make me…”

Aside from the sexual reference the clarity that came to me was “Fill your mind with what you want/desire”.  Of late my brain has been on a downward spiral of what I don’t have (no job, no personal income, no stability, no whatever).  I have filled my brain with stress, sorrow, depression.

Last night lying in bed with Master I felt incredibly tired holding on to this stuff.

For self preservation I need to fill my head with better stuff.

“First keep the peace within yourself, then you can also bring peace to others.”

German mystic & religious author (1380 – 1471)

Let It Flow…

4 05 2012

Words for the day: Let it Flow

The chorus for this song has been playing in my head all week. Sometimes in the background most times in the foreground when I wake up.

The song talks about releasing a relationship but I think it can also mean that we need to release those things that are not good for us (habits, relationships, behaviors, anger, frustration, hopelessness, wishful thinking, love, whatever). The pain we feel from releasing these things hurts but once the hurt stops the healing begins.

Sometimes we just need to make the decision to Let it Flow back into the universe in order to receive so much more.

Happy Day Everyone 🙂

Service Book of Days 1/18/10

18 01 2010

v Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?)  It is a beautiful day out.  I went out for a run and the weather was cold but not brutally so.  Perfect weather for running.

v my thoughts…are open and accepting.  It has been a year since I have been Master’s slave and I am choosing not to look back but to look forward to more.

v Today’s Quote… 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a and 13
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails….And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (NIV)

This is one of my favorite quotes.  It shows how love for someone goes past the emotional phase.  Being in love with someone takes active participation.  It takes living.  It takes growth.

v i am thankful for…my life and being alive.  For the struggles and being fortunate enough to love and be loved.

v From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week) Grace and inner peace.

v From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  Planned menu for the week will include, baked chicken, fish, spaghetti.

v i am wearing…my comfy clothes with fuzzy socks

v i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;)  I am a work of art being molded and formed by Master.

v my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?)  No adventures this week.    Fixing the house to sale.

v Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?)  I have been listening to a podiobook written by Scott Sigler.  He does great  horror podcasts.

v i manifest and co-create…(what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week) Peace and tranquility in my house and with my children.

v Today’s Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…) No tunes today.

v One of my favorite things… has become the endorphin rush from working out.  I always love to just get out doors and run.  Such a freeing experience.  There is always a challenge to be met in running so I never get bored of it.  I am glad that with my physical limitation I can get back outside and run.

v further plans for this week…Continuing to fix the house to sell.  It has been extremely windy on the east coast and such wind tore pieces of siding from my house.  Sighs…something else to add to the list.

v Still….life(share a picture you’ve taken OR a picture you found online that speaks to you)

Service Book of Days – 12/7/09

7 12 2009
  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?)  is a cold and chilly evening but very refreshing after the stuffiness of being inside.  Mmmmm I love the crispness in the air.
  • my thoughts…are pensive.  I crashed harder than usual from being with Master and I am not sure why.  I think it is the separation that is finally getting to me.  I know my relationship with Master is secure.  I just am so ready to be with him.
  • Today’s Quote… Love is everything it’s cracked up to be…It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for.    Erica Jong, O Magazine, February 2004

I know I had this quote for last week but I am still feeling it.  For myself, in the past, if stuff got too hard for me emotionally or called for me to open up more than was comfortable for me, I would have bolted or shut myself off.  I was trying to preserve and protect myself but in reality I was putting myself in a cage.

Love is really worth fighting for not just for the other person but for myself.  Freedom of expression and self…authentic life, as someone told me

  • i am thankful for…each and everyday.
  • From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week) My daughter is teaching me how to crochet.    I made my first chain and half a scarf.
  • From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  I made baked chicken with ginger, cheddar cheese cornbread and mixed vegetables.
  • i am wearing…my workout clothes and I had a chance to go to the gym after work.  Doing two times a day.
  • i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;)  peace and tranquility and the feeling of the season for my children.  Joyous and celebratory and thankful.
  • my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?)  No adventures this week.
  • Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?)  I am still reading Anneke Jacobs book “As She’s told”.
  • i manifest and co-create…(what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week) Peace and tranquility in my house and with my children.
  • Today’s Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…) So while trying to find the song that Master and I danced to, I came across this song by Atlantic Star.  Man I love the music from this area.

  • One of my favorite things..is to read a good book.
  • further plans for this week…Continuing to fix the house to sell.
