Service Book of Days 6/1/10

v Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) is a beautiful night.  Clear skies and cool breezes.

v my thoughts… are all of the stuff I need to do.  But not being overwhelmed but managing the process.

v Today’s Quote: To be one’s self, and unafraid whether right or wrong, is more admirable than the easy cowardice of surrender to conformity.

Irving Wallace

v i am thankful for…my wonderful grandson J  I love it when he calls me grandma.  Yeah I know, retro in the face of all of the nannas and memaws but when he says grandma it makes my heart sing.

v From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week)  mindful decisions that flow within my slavery to Master.

v From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  Nothing new this week.

v i am wearing…nothing.  Admiring the changes in my body from my fitness routine.

v i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;) myself into the best shape of my life.  I started doing the muscle and fitness hers challenge in order to build more muscle and to do something with my daughter.  It has been most enjoyable doing this with her and having something to relate with.

v my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?)  well my adventure from last week was running a 5k.  I did okay, came in with a time of 33.49.  I think I could have done better but the weather was 93 degrees with very high humidity.   So I am happy with that.

v Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?) No books this week.

v i manifest and co-create…(what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week)  Life to the full.

v Today’s Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…) Listening to some workout music.

v One of my favorite things…is to lay my head on Master’s chest and listen to him breathe…sighs

v further plans for this week…Nothing this week.   Keeping it close to home.

Mastery Lessons From an Old House

I live in an old house. Really old, you know built two centuries ago old. The kind of house that creaks a bit when you get home. But it is warm and comfortable and I love it. I love spending time here. I love living here.  It is HOME. I think you know what I mean.

When I came home tonight, I realized that I would need to spend some time this weekend on the “maintainance” of the house. I saw some light getting in through a joint in the wall. I noticed my screen door isn’t closing right. That means I need to run out, get some things to fix it up. Take the door off the hinge and sand it so it fits back in the frame right.

Such are the pleasures of home ownership.

But if I want a nice place to live, these are the things I have to do.  Otherwise wood rot sets in and the  foundations of the house crumbles.

The same can be said of the relationship of a Master and a slave. Every once and  a while, you have to sit back and really examine your relationship. Make sure they joints are all fitting together. The windows and doors all work right.

And if they don’t, you have to fix them. Sit down and work out why they aren’t working. Maybe talk things over with your slave, if you are in that kind of relationship. Make the changes that need to be made.

And if you do, maybe your relationship will last 1/3 as long as my house has stood.

Torture Can Be a Very Bad Thing

Found this on the web.  Remember torture is only acceptable if it is consensual, and the parties come out the other side alive and intact (well mostly intact, lol).

More Poledancing

Sometimes you just want to relax and watch a beautiful woman dance. Pole dancing combines sensual-eroticism and sheer athleticism. These women are in fantastic shape and display a great deal of skill in their displays (for the most part).  I found an advertisement for this years pole-dancing competition in NYC (already past sadly). Still we have this video. Enjoy!
