Service Book of Days 11/29/10

v Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) the night is clear and beautiful…crisp like the days before the snow comes.

 

 

v my thoughts… are appreciative.  I was  watching the bucket list the other night (love that movie) and I realized that if I was at the end of my days that I would really have nothing that I wished I had done.   Life is really good.  I may not be rich but I do have much. J

v From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week)  mindful decisions that flow within my slavery to Master.

 

 

v From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  Nothing new this week but I am going to make fried chicken, jasmine rice and vegetables.  No more Thanksgiving food…lol

 

 

v i am wearing…Blue jeans and a blue shirt

 

 

v i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;) Nothing new at the moment

 

 

v my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?)  no new adventures this week.  I have been feeling sort of run down with the rushing around for the wedding and then the holidays.  I need to rest and start working out again to get my mojo back…lol

 

 

v Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?) Still listening to Barack Obama’s the Audacity of Hope.  I have to say it is really a very thought provoking read.  I don’t think he was blinded by the White House.  I think his view on what could be accomplished by thinking and reasoning people was a bit misguided though.  It is hard to take the high road when you have to work with other people who only care how stuff affects themselves.

 

v i manifest and co-create…(what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week)  Life to the full.

 

 

v Today’s Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…) Listening to Usher’s “There Goes My Baby”

Service Book of Days 11/22/10

  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?)  the most moon i have ever seen.  this moon was full bright.  i felt as if i should be howling and dancing embracing the essence of the moon.
  • my thoughts…are happy and sad…happy that my daughter is in town and all of my children are together…feels like old times…sad because Master is not with us…but that will change in time

  • i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;) More memories for my children and I.  Thanksgiving is this week and we will be spending it together 🙂

  • Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?)  Listening to the President’s book…The Audacity of Hope.   It really is  a very good read.  He is a good orator and his words were pragmatic.

Service Book of Days 11/15/10

  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?)  is actually a little on the warm side.  it has been a beautiful warm weekend.  :o)  Master and i have seen some beautiful sunsets.   You know sometimes I miss the beauty in things and don’t realize it until Master points them out to me.
  • my thoughts…are reflective.  Master will be going home tomorrow and I just realized that when it is time for him to leave that I get very inward focus and business like to the point of shutting people out.   Me shutting down instead of dealing with my emotions.   I realize also that I do this alot and some perceive it as being cold

Service Book of Days 11/8/10

  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?)  the weather is cool.  it was sleeting today.  four days before my outdoor wedding and the weather is sleeting.  but i won’t let that bother me because despite it all i am marrying Master 🙂
  • my thoughts…are flitty…lol  pretty sure that that’s not a word but i have such nervous energy that i can’t sit still and neither can my thoughts.  and now what i am thinking about is what will happen after we are married?  argh darn my need to know how the future will turn out.
  • Today’s Quote… The only thing in life you do in order is age…everything else is random… Me
  • i am thankful for…change and being able to accept change.  growth…spiritual, emotional, natural growth.
  • From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week) This one is my Master’s slave.  This one will always do as the Master commands.  These are the thoughts that I am ingraining inside of me.
  • From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  my menu for the week is pretty basic…i am planning to cook foodstuffs for the reception/bday parties. 🙂
  • i am wearing…my blue jean shirt and brown pants.
  • i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;) Nothing new at the moment
  • my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?) I am getting married on Friday 🙂  That is a big adventure.

Thoughts On My Upcoming Marriage

This time next week I will be married to my slave. For myself, this isn’t a big deal for the most part. It simplifies many of the legalities, though it may complicate finding a second slave. Or not. It is not something I can control, so I choose not to worry about  it.

 

For my girl, it has been something that meant more than she realized. It has taken away her ability to focus on her duties to me and at work. We are working on this. I have noticed that at each stage of our relationship, she reverts her behavior because she loose her focus on the role, instead she focuses on the event. But in reality, the event just is a marker for our relationship, and without the proper focus on the role, our relationship is meaningless. Well not quit meaningless, but the meaning is more aligned with the mundane world. It takes us out of the Master and slave roles we have committed to.

So, I have to renew my efforts in our relationship. I cannot allow my love for her to cloud my duty to her, to us really. Without our commitment to each other, to ourselves and to our chosen roles, the rest is meaningless.
