I have met both Scourge and coffee (at BlackBEAT events) and know them to be wonderful people who have created a unique online presence. From their website, I found the following biography:
Scourge and coffee launched Dark Connections on Valentines Day, February 14, 2003. They enjoy a loving D/s relationship and are also the closest of friends and confidants. Scourge is the founder, copy editor, advisor and co-designer of the site. coffee is the co-founder, web-designer, moderator and graphic artist.
The Dark Connections website has a library, dictionary, and links to many groups that novices and experienced alike will find useful. Their online Yahoo group often gets 50 or more posts a day, and often is educational and always entertaining. I hope that you get a chance to check them out.
