Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?) I am listening still listening to an audio book by Peter F. Hamilton that Master and I are reading together.   Even though our relationship is long distance we find creative ways to do things together such as listening to the same audio book.

My Slave Isn’t My Girlfriend

I saw a post on FetLife the other day where someone asked why her Dom said she made a better girlfriend than a sub. This cause a bit of confusion for people. They did not get that there was a real difference between a girlfriend and a full time submissive. You see, in a modern boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, the partners are pretty much equals. They negotiate every thing. Sometimes he gets his way, other times she gets her way.  In a D/s or M/s relationship, both get their needs met, but the power is oriented so that the D-type gets their way. That is the difference and why a sub isn’t my girlfriend. The exchange of power.

Now for some, they do the dating thing and don’t exchange power outside of the bedroom. And that is OK, but that is why for some of us power exchange is more important.

From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  Nothing unusual this week.  It’s spring cleaning time around here. So more cleaning of baseboards and cabinets

i am wearing…clothes 😦  Unfortunately.  Today I feel like walking around free from the restraints of clothing.  Can’t at the moment while the kids are awake but once they are in bed…all clothes are coming off  lol

Nancy Ava Miller

So every once and a while, I run across something I find fascinating. That happened a few weeks ago when I was approached about Nancy Ava Miller doing a tour to support her new book: PERVERT: Notes from the Sexual Underground. I did a bit of research and found out that she is the lady that founded PEP. Wow, what a great thing.  And the book too. So, take a moment, go to her site and read about the book. Service Book of Days 4/25/11

Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) is a warm spring night J

my thoughts… are on techniques to process pain for extended times.  Each time I visit with Master it seems he has a new technique to hurt my nipples…lol  This time he was very creative.  His hands are totally deadly weapons.  This trip I was in tears on more than one occasion.
