Service Book of Days 8/29/11

Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) I hear crickets and other creepy crawlies.  I am sitting in my Master’s house almost my home as well.  5 more days and then I am finally all moved in.

my thoughts… are none.  I spend too much time in my head sometimes and it tires me out.  With all of the work I have been doing around the house my brain has been on overload with it’s thoughts.  Now I need to not think.

my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?)  driving down back to NJ to finish closing the house up and moving the rest of my stuff down.  Finally this will be done and I can get started organizing here.

Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?) I am not reading or listening to anything at the moment.  Way too much other things to do.

Today’s Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…)  no music today just the chirping of insects…LOL

I just planted a Butterfly Bush of the same species. Mine is very small. This one is quite big. I hope mine attracts similar visitors!

My sister and I were standing around looking at Master’s property and we were suddenly attacked by a big butterfly…LOL  we are definitely city girls as we started screaming and swatting at a butterfly…LOLOL

my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?)  driving down to NC with my sister 🙂  this should be a very interesting trip as I am not very good car company.  Usually when I drive my mind wanders and driving become secondary.  I am aware of driving and conscious of the road and such but my mind is inward.  I love my inward space.

Service Book of Days 8/17/11

So I tried to post my book of days 2 times on monday and for some reason it would not post.  So I took that as a sign that it was not meant to be.  The computer gods were having none of that…lol

Tonight I am back in NJ and though the weather is nice I am without my family.  I am not discouraged but encouraged that our life is moving in the right direction.

I have spent the past 3 days getting everyone settled and comfortable with each other.  My part is done and they will be okay.  Suffice it to say my part  was minimal.

This week I will be continuing to pack the house and doing nothing else.

I can say I am enjoying my new space with master.  I was out running the other day and I ran past cows…LOL  Yeah a totally different sort of animal than I am used to seeing every day.

While the kids and I were looking our new home we discovered that Master has a pear tree and bunny rabbits!!! The rabbits love the pear tree.

So we have a pear tree, a pecan tree and grapes.  Hmmmm I wonder if I can make a pecan pie.  🙂  Can’t wait to get everything in order.

I love my past. I love my present. I’m not ashamed of what I’ve had, and I’m not sad because I have it no longer.ColetteThe Last of Cheri, 1926

Ahhh the excitement of now 🙂

I normally don’t like driving home at night as I can’t really see to clearly and the fast cars and bright lights freak me out.  So as I was reminder myself for the thousandth time to calm down and relax I looked up from the road and saw three beautiful stars in the sky on a clear night.  Seemed like they were guiding my way and my Father’s way of telling me he is guiding me and no need for me to fear.  Cheered me and chilled me out.

Service Book of Days 8/8/11

Tonight is a really warm night.  One of my few days/nights left in NJ.  It’s kinda sad, nerve wracking, heart pounding, insomnia inducing, and very exciting.

My thoughts and emotions are all over the place.  Despite everything the one underlying thing that comes through is that this is right.  This is how my world is supposed to be. 🙂

I suspect that learning to be more “pliable” will be the prevailing theme.  I resolve to relax, relate, and release 🙂

If you refuse to be made straight when you are green, you will not be made straight when you are dry.African Proverb

I am thankful for my life.

I keep saying that I am learning nothing new but while having brunch with my girl friend I realize I have been learning.  I have been learning patience and the trust that comes with relying on someone other than me.

This week I will be driving down to NC to register my children for school. Part of the trust that I am learning is trusting someone else with my children.  Strangely, I really don’t have any squiggly feelings concerning his ability to take care of the kids it is more my letting go and letting him become Us and We and Our.

I am releasing all of the craziness of moving and listening to this book on tape called the Hunger Games.  It is a trilogy and it is turning out to be very interesting.  Sometimes her doubts become overwhelming and annoying but then I remember that the heroine is a 16 year old girl…lol

So random song started playing in my head today and I wish I could remember what it was because it was really random and was by Stevie Wonder.   I’ll no doubt remember when I am laying in bed about to drift off to sleep…lol

Right now I am wearing my favorite outfit for the past few months of cleanser and paint…lol

Still….my life in a picture.  A snapshot of what I am thinking today.

Service Book of Days 7/25/11

Tonight is a really nice cool night.  Even though it is a little rainy it is much of a relief from the heat of the past week.

I am totally thankful for cool nights where I can open the window.  Sometimes I get so tired of being in an air conditioned place.

I am looking forward to the times when the kids and I are spending these types of nights with Master.  Taking a walk and getting to know our new home.

You can be pleased with nothing when you are not pleased with yourself.Lady Mary Wortley Montagu
English letter author & poet (1689 – 1762)

I love this quote.  I realize that there are many opportunities for those small things to seem like big things and cause unhappiness.  But I have had enough of that and I know that my life is wonderful and I love every part of me.

Tonight I am wearing black pants and a top that say “Totally Worth It”  🙂

This weekend I will be dealing with more contractors as I will be getting the kitchen painted.

Today’s Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…)  The sound of my grandson’s laughter as he tells me he loves me 🙂
