FetLife Reaches 100,000 Members today

I just thought I would share this bit of news with everyone. JohnBaku announced that FetLife had its 100,000th member join today. This is less than 13 months after it’s January 3, 2008, launch.

In case you were unaware, FetLife is a social networking site for people into the Lifestyle with a focus on being an anti-dating site. Yes, a place that makes it harder to hookup. But this is part of it’s charm. It allows serious discussions without the spam that usually fills up the women’s mailboxes. While not perfect, it is nice.

Congradulations, John, on hitting another milestone. And if you haven’t been there yet, you should go.

  1. Mastervoid,

Thanks for all the help in the Tech Support group on FetLife. It’s because we have active members like you that we’re able to do what we do!!!

You’re right, especially about the non-spam inbox comment. I actually get more “Hey baby” spam in my Facebook than on my FetLife profile. I hope to keep it that way!!!

Thanks again – I just want you to know that I appreciate all the time you spend volunteering to help other people in the community.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you – to start with, I’m going to add your blog to our list of blogs on BestSexBloggers. 🙂 That’s my own site, not a FetLife site, but I can at least link back to you there.

    Keep on spankin’

  2. Catalina,

I am always happy to help out. Hopefully my answers are useful. I try to not put out anything that John wouldn’t approve of. You guys are so busy that it would be difficult to answer everything.

Still for a site with over 100k members, you guys get an amazingly low number of tech support and questions…

    Mostly about advanced search…lol

And thank you for the add.
