Service Book of Days – 12/15/09

15 12 2009
  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) the weather is typical Jersey winter weather…difficult…lol  it was freezing rain with below freezing temps on Sunday and now it is 50 something degrees and warm.
  • my thoughts… are busy with stuff for the holiday season.  Wrapping gifts and sending out cards
  • Today’s Quote…
The self is not something ready-made, but something in continuous formation through choice of action.
    John Dewey
    US educator, Pragmatist philosopher, & psychologist (1859 – 1952)
  • i am thankful for…time.  I appreciate the moments that I have with my children, family and being in love with Master.
  • From my service training… (any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week)
  • From the kitchen… (menu for the week, what are you cooking?)  I am thinking about keeping it healthy while my job is closed for the holiday

  • my adventures this week… (where are you going this week?)  no adventures this week but cleaning and getting ready for Christmas.
  • Becoming well read… (What are you reading this week?)  I am not reading anything at the moment.  I just finished reading Anneke Jacobs, As She’s told, and I found it very interesting. My thoughts are turned towards the possibilities of life TPE/IE
  • i manifest and co-create… (what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week) peace and tranquility and contentment
  • Todays Melody… (what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…)  No music today, I have a cold and a headache.  So I am listening to my thoughts today.

  • further plans for this week…  continue to decorate and relax
  • Still….life (share a picture you’ve taken OR a picture you found online that speaks to you)

Service Book of Days 11/16/09

16 11 2009
  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) was a beautiful sunrise as I was walking to work today. It was shades of reds and yellows and was just gorgeous. Of course when I came home tonight the sky was sprinkled with stars…how gorgeous is that.
  • my thoughts…are hopeful. I am putting out positive words and believing that I will receive all good things. Life is as you choose it and I refuse to choose to be stagnant or choose to acknowledge the hard parts.
  • Today’s Quote… Do not weep; do not wax indignant. Understand…Baruch Spinoza (1623-1677)
  • i am thankful for…my family, for each day, my children, my Master and hot apple pie with home made whip cream
  • From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week) I am remembering that I am Master Void’s slave and to develop in the way he wants me to.
  • From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?) I made home made bread this weekend. It was a real simple recipe made with yeast, unbleached flower, and kosher salt. It was really good. It was an artisan bread. I made a hearty lasagna to go with it and the kids enjoyed it.
  • i am wearing…my workout clothes and I had a chance to go to the gym after work. Doing two times a day.
  • i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;) hmmm I would like to create something from my own hands…not sure what though.
  • my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?) I will continue to do work around the house. Fixing it up to sale. I have already had two offers to buy and I have not put it on the market yet.
  • Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?) I am still reading Anneke Jacobs book “As She’s told”. I am also listening to several podio books on the iphone Master gave me.
  • i manifest and co-create…(what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week) Peace and tranquility in my house and with my children.
  • Todays Melody…(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…) I was listening to a great track from my workout. Great beat.
  • One of my favorite things..is starting to become cooking :)
  • further plans for this week…Going to keep it quiet this week and do stuff around the house.
  • Still….life(share a picture you’ve taken OR a picture you found online that speaks to you)

Service Book of Days 10/6/09

6 10 2009
  • Outside my window… (weather, what do you hear, what do you see?) you know, I work in a very scenic office building out in the suburbs. Beautiful grounds…all the buildings are designed to fit the surroundings and not over take them. In the winter it is absolutely gorgeous to see the snow falling. Somehow my office building has a cozy feeling to it :)
  • my thoughts…are about trying to regain my equilibrium A few things happened a couple of weeks ago that almost made me go back into my hidey whole but I am refusing to do that so I am getting back into action.
  • Today’s Quote…  ”Don’t follow your dreams, Chase them”, Richard Dumb.
I am going to follow my dream of being with Master.  Of changing my kids environment and being happy.
  • i am thankful for…always my family, all my moments – good and bad. I know I keep saying this but these are the things that I am most thankful for…everything else is just gravy, as the saying goes.
  • From my service training…(any skills, training etc; notes you want to share this week)
  • From the kitchen…(menu for the week, what are you cooking?) I am going to make something non-exotic for dinner for my new meal. The kids have told me they need something edible…lol So I am going to roast a chicken but marinade it in a ginger sauce. I am going to cut up and roast some squash for the vegetables. Simple but different :)
  • i am wearing…my stinky workout clothes. Oh man, I can’t wait to take a shower and feel all smooth and clean again.
  • i am creating…(crafts, sewing etc;) nothing new at the moment
  • my adventures this week…(where are you going this week?) No adventures this weekend. I am going to continue to do stuff around my house. Still trying to prepare my house for selling. :)
  • Becoming well read…(What are you reading this week?)…Nothing this week, but thinking about ordering The Fountainhead by Ayne Rand. I keep hearing stuff about this book and I want to listen to it myself.
  • i manifest and co-create…(what are your hopes, dreams, and prayers this week) Peace and tranquility in my house and with my children. I pray for the people around us to not take their life for granted.
  • Todays Melody..(what music are you listening to? even if it’s just the sound of a bird…) Someone posted a song on their fetlife page that I just love the words to. It is Mary J’s song “You’re All I Need”

Here are some of the words:

Like a sweet morning dew
I took on look at you
And it was plain to see
You were my destiny

  • One of my favorite things…Sing. I am just an undiscovered voice waiting for the producer to hear my voice as I ride the train. Well that is what I tell myself when it is probably more like the people on the train grumbling for me to be quiet…LOL
  • further plans for this week…housecleaning/clearing. Continuing my workout plan. Fixing up my house.
  • Still….life (share a picture you’ve taken OR a picture you found online that speaks to you)

fish and woman

You know I was surfing the site Master gave me to look for pictures that I can use without breaking any copy right laws and such and I saw this picture on the front page.  I was looking  for pictures of nice bright and shiny things that make me feel giggly inside.  But I just kept coming back to this picture.

You know with the move and stuff I feel really scared.  I am basically changing my comforting surroundings for a place unknown.  Starting new.  Looking at this picture, the words that came to my mind were:

Sometimes you just have to eat the whole thing.

I am going to prepare as well as I can for the move but there will come a time soon when I just have to do it.

Service Book of Days – 8/31/09

31 08 2009

You know at one time I got tired of doing these posts every week as I found myself just making up stuff to put in it.  I think I missed the purpose of them.  The purpose is to not make me feel burdened but for me to take a moment and remember my life day by day and not just “go through” this life unaware.  At least that’s what sunk in for me as I posting this week’s post.

Outside my window…it was a bright day a little on the chilly side.

· my thoughts… are living honestly and open

· Today’s Quote…  People often say that beauty if in the eye of the beholder and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder.  This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look including inside ourselves…Salma Hayek

· i am thankful for… the many opportunities i have for growth

· From my service training… to be honest with myself.  this means being honest in looking at and working through all of the messy emotions and messy emotions are not easy for me.  i might try and fool myself into glossing over and only looking as far as the surface but to be honest to myself and to Master requires that I do more than just the minimum.

· From the kitchen… curry rice, mixed vegetables and baked chicken.

· i am wearing… a turquoise sundress

· i am creating… nothing…i am letting my Father’s universe guide me

· my adventures this week… school shopping and getting the kids ready for the rigors of highschool and middle school

· Becoming well read… A dragonfly in Amber…listening slowly to the Four Agreements (again)

· Today’s Melody… “And I gave my Love to you”…Sonja Marie…From the Waiting to Exhale Soundtrack

· One of my favorite things… Laughing out loud…I mean really loud…makes the body feel good.

· Further plans for this week… school shopping and preparing the kids for school.  I have one senior, one middle schooler (7th grade) and one 10th grader.

· Still….life… simple obedience.
